Nestled in the Byron Bay hinterland, creators Kendall and Glenn set out to build an off-grid tiny home—immersed in nature and thoughtfully designed. The hero feature? A finely crafted deck that adds comfort, durability, and a touch of luxury. With the region’s heavy rain and humidity, timber wasn’t an option, so they chose Brite Decking’s NextGen Titanium ASA boards in Tawny for a rich timber look without the maintenance.
With guidance from our experts—materials, layout ideas, and custom sketches tailored to rainforest conditions and their design goals—they brought the plan to life themselves. Highlights include a concealed outdoor bathtub, lift-up bench storage, and a clean picture-frame border. Despite being first-time deck builders, the install was straightforward using our guides and clip-in fastening system.
BAL-29 compliant with a non-porous core, the Titanium range excels on low-to-ground decks and in high-moisture areas. It stands up to rain, humidity, and harsh sun—no oiling, sanding, or sealing required—blending naturally with the landscape while resisting the elements.
Their build video has already attracted 750,000+ views on YouTube, with more content and a six-month review planned—giving homeowners a real-world look at Brite Decking’s long-term performance.
